some thoughts.

every trial and tribulation in life has a secret message. a higher purpose for everything – like a treasure hunt. sometimes the message/truth is so subtle. it can’t be heard when there is too much mental chatter. only those who listen to the silence between thoughts hear it. learn to surrender to the silent wisdom.

 

i believe we also come into eachother’s lives for a reason, especially the meeting point at a specific time and if there is an ending point, both are very significant. sometimes destiny cannot be controlled (beyond the mundane decisions and power of influential thought) so it’s better to surrender to the ebb and flow of life’s journey. we are all on journies, even when we aren’t seeking self-discovery. lessons are always there for the ones perceptive enough to discover them. sometimes we need to meet people or read books at certain points to listen to what wisdom they offer and how it reminds us of what we already knew and had forgotten. there’s always something to be learned there. knowledge is power; freedom. liberation from duality, from the human ego, from samskaras…. though it can be a long process before we are ready to release these tribulations, these patterns… it can take time and much adjustment to the tuning of our souls to perceive what is happening, and come to the ah-ha state that liberates us through that knowledge. we need to connect the dots on a higher level.
